AUDITORIUM

Puebla, known for its rich history and colonial architecture, is the setting for Puebla Auditorium, a multifunctional space designed to accommodate 10,000 spectators seated. This versatile auditorium is conceived to adapt a wide range of events, from shows and concerts to sports, cultural, and social events.

The exterior form of the place is inspired by the imposing Popocatépetl volcano, a naturally and culturally significant icon for the region. This volcano, standing at 5,426 meters above sea level, is one of the highest in Mexico, and has been a source of inspiration for the area’s inhabitants for centuries. From the  outdoor esplanade of the place, visitors can admire the majesty of its snowed peak  and its imposing presence on the horizon.

One of the standout characteristics of the auditorium is its commitment to universal accessibility. Solutions have been implemented to ensure that everyone, including those with disabilities, can fully enjoy the facilities. From arrival to their stay within the place, inclusion and comfort for all attendees have been prioritized, ensuring easy access, unobstructed movement, and services adapted to diverse needs.

As an integral part of the design, a wide esplanade has been included to host cultural activities and exhibitions, as well as recreational and sportive places that significantly enrich the social and cultural life of the community.
